Here is a very nice and extremely sturdy roll frame for Wurlitzer 125 Band Organ rolls. It was manufactured by the Robot Music Company of Wichita, Kansas and according to the original invoice that came with it the price in 1992 was $500.00. It saw light service on a self-playing accordian.
It is shown in one photograph on my roll scanner which is all I have used it for. I have no further need for it so I am offering it for sale.
The speed control is quite sophisticated in that the tempo of the roll remains constant and does not increase or decrease according to the heat of the potentiometer. It worked very well for scanning rolls.
The original instructions were laminated and are included.
Nice thing about this roll frame is that the motors are all W. W. Grainger part numbers which would make replacement, if necessary, a breeze.
